If a Joomla Module is published, but does not show up on the front end, it might not be assigned to any menu items.
In the Module Manager open the Module and check that "Module Assignment" is NOT set to "No pages".
Set to "On all pages", or "Only on the pages selected", or "On all pages except those selected".
